Great work mate! I'm certainly one of her soon to be clients once we move into our new house!

We finally completed on the place just before Christmas and are currently renting ofd friends across town.

Just before we moved out we have a full on photo shoot which will result in full piece in real homes magazine in the next few months.

We have just kicked off our next project which we had an offer accepted on in early December which we are not going to live in whilst working on it.

This one is a much smaller 1930’s semi (something that I have always wanted to work on) which will need gutting. Our architect started working on plans just before Christmas to see what we can deliver without extending outward and using the space creativity to provide a light airy mid century (ish) 4 bed.

Bit of a thread resurrection but if anyone fancies having a go themselves the adjoining house has just come on the market:

We saw this come on a few days ago and actually before we bought the latest reno we tried to but it off the seller but wasn’t ready to move (going into new build In early 2022).

I have a very good idea why there are no photos of the inside at the moment.

In terms of is it good value at that price? If we were going to buy it we would have been looking at 50k less than that (which is closer to what we paid for ours).

Although there has been quite a lot of work done internally I.e the back 2 rooms have already been knocked through, my question would be to what quality as the approach to steel work was very different to what we has to have done (notes when I took the photos for the party wall agreement. And things like the first floor conservatory needs sorting (including floor levels).

But all in all there is probably some money to be made with doing something as we have set the precedent for price (at a premium for what we did)

If anyone is going to but it give me a shout and I can talk you through the challenges (not in an open forum!)
