Probably could be for storage, but there are no plans to make it usable.

When I get back home I'll get some decent pictures.
Other half is not the greatest photographer!

Shows how long I've been away now, building taken taken down, 900sqft garage built, all through a lockdown & its still finished months before I get back!

That is a bit mad, and fair play for pushing ahead in you absence! is that work related travel?

You're going to be in for a shock. You won't believe what's been going on since you left!

You laugh, but your poor wife has been so hammered she’s been taking photographs while clearly collapsed on the drive!

So we had a minor planning issue which arose about 3/4s of the way through the build ......

...... somebody made a complaint that we had demolished an existing structure in a conservation area which apparently you need permission for. As I pointed out we didn't demolish it...it demolished itself when it fell down. So planners dropped that complaint......but then said technically our Cetificate of Lawful development now didn't cover us as technically we were replacing not repairing.....they did however say that if the 1st complaint had not been made nobody would have been any the wiser. They liked what we were doing.... but said really you need planing permission....they wouldn't object.......but still needed buy in from conservation officer & they couldn't predict outcome.
Would appear another busy body who doesn't even live in the village moaned that it was too big & out of keeping.....it's the same size materials & details as the original banghead it's just not covered in the ivy that held the previous one up.

....anyhow all got formal planning approval yesterday.

Well done.

Glad you kept the faith.
