Cardo Packtalk Compatiable

A friend and I planned a trip to Spain and bought Cardo Packtalk units.

Another friend is now coming along and wants to get a comms unit also - is there a cheaper unit than a cardo packtalk that is compatible that you can recommend that will enable all three of us to chat bks?

I think the packtalk can connect to any other Bluetooth unit but you won't have all the features available to you.
I think you have to run in Bluetooth mode on your packtalks and not in DMC mode (DMC mode works considerably better).
There are videos on youtube videos connecting other intercoms I believe.

Two friends and I have the PackTalk Bolds and a PackTalk, they're pretty robust, personally I'd advise him to get a used PackTalk on ebay rather than a new but inferior unit.
