Robovacs good or not?
Discussion
How particular are you on serviceable parts?
I have a Neato D5. I strip and clean it bi-weekly, new filter every quarter. It's a year old now and wondering if its worth changing the main brush.
I went with aftermarket filters and little side brush, they seem good. Anybody replaced a main brush? Worth sticking with Neato or will the cheaper ones do as good a job?
Probably seems OTT but actually near double the recommended intervals.

I bought some side brushes for the Eufy off eBay, (the originals can be straightened out with boiling kettle water BTW), and they must have been for the later 11 series as they don't quite fit, I need to grind them down as they protrude too much. But then again, I paid £1.50 from eBay, not £15 from Eufy/Anker.
I clean it quite often, it seems to accrue a lot of crap, but then again it runs minimum once a day and often a second time upstairs when I get home. A blast of compressed air on the white main filter, a wash under the tap for the black pre-filter and the dust collector box and mesh filter goes in the dishwasher.
Still happy enough with it, it gets stuck a lot on our lovely new rug but that can't be helped. I clean the main roller with the combined blade/scraper tool Eufy provide, rubber puller on the roller still seems to do a good job.
If I was you I'd take the chance on a cheap one from eBay/Amzn, there's nothing sensitive in it, so it's essentially a motor factor's pattern part

Bit of a jump in price. £141 with the accessories but now £250. Do they go up and down like a DFS sale?
The £141 price is because I split the cashback reward with you guys, so technically it's not the true price. The cheapest ever sale price I've seen it at is £161 and they don't have it that low very often.Best to catch it in a good sale, which doesn't require a discount code, because then you can combine it with my referral and get £20 back plus accessories They have it in a good sale now but unfortunatly the referral code isn't being applied to this offer... I'll send Eufy an email to see what they say.

I have spoken to Eufy, my referral link works although minus the spare parts unfortunately.
£169, I'll split the reward, so it'll take it down to £149 for you

TBH I think it does a better job too, gets under the TV cabinets, tables, various shelving units, couches, etc that never used to be hoovered.
Corners, not got any that don't have furniture in them so don't worry about it.
Judging by the crap in the dust collected every day it's pulling everything up. Gets a good clean once a couple of weeks, dishwasher of the collector gubbins.
We have used the wet/dry hoover more times to hoover the car than the house since we bought the Eufy.

Now in the market for one, what's a good buy and any offers on at the moment?
I think you get £40 off a Eufy with a referralI can give you if you PM me
I bought one after researching and reading this thread
Amazed at what the little bugger picks up, considering the lesser noise than a proper vacuum and it’s bumbling random nature.
Not touched my Dyson in 3 months
