Always a satisfying milestone to get the slab done smile I found the apparent size of the space will keep changing at each stage of construction!

Can't tell from the photo, but did you have the floor power-floated?

No. I asked and the builders told me that they used a metal bar, then a large plastic pipe was pulled across.

It's witchcraft as far as I'm concerned!

Brickwork is coming along. Bricklayer should be finished by Wednesday, weather permitting.

I'm unable to upload a photo due to the rubbish PH picture uploader and a "522 error" frown

So are you having a central pillar between the door openings? What will that be made of?

I think so. It is a steel stanchion. It's not on site yet. So, I'm not sure how big it is.

It's you. Plus, I used 'panorama' to get it all in shot. So, the perspective's warped.

But, mostly, it's you. hehe

Actually he is right, the floor is sagging in the picture. I presume its actually ok though.

The floor is completely level. The pan in panoramic mode gives a false perspective.

I would go out and take a 'regular' shot. However, it's bucketting down with rain so you'll just have to take my word for it. biggrin

OP .... I’m sure your doing this .... but just in case .... get them to cut the concrete back at least the thickness of the doors so they can lay decorative bricks.... looks a lot better than a concrete edge .
Something like this.
No idea why the bloody photo is sideways 🤨

I posted pictures of my 5.2m garage and said that I thought it was extremely tight for two cars.

Since then it's been tidied up a bit, the bins have been moved outside and some ladders are hanging on the wall out of the way. I've also put up a couple of reflectors to make it easier to reverse the Astra in close to the wall. The garage is much more useable now, but if I had the choice I'd still want it a bit bigger.
