Karndean prices - what?

I was ok with the supply price but the 2600 for fitting shocked me a little I think. Especially considering all the floors are freshly laid screed. I didnt realise they needed to be super flat for karndean so a big chunk of that cost (1k) is for self leveling.

If the floor has been screeded properly it shouldn't need any self levelling, my kitchen is 64m2 and was just concreted and I used 5 bags (£100) of self levelling to sort it.

Is it a gypsum based screed thats been laid? if so has it been properly sanded?

My reply got removed but it genuinely wasn’t an advert, I just wanted to let you know where I got my flooring from? Oh well. It was from lifestyle flooring UK, got a really good deal on Black Friday. That was the gist of it. Hope that helps. 2600 is extortionate! Where is that quote from?
