Pricing has been set up today.

Hopefully I will be able to post it here tomorrow.

Forgot about this until the NoX-less loft scent returned - any updates? Going to get one ordered ASAP! Appreciate you putting this together smile

It’s all been signed off. I just haven’t chased the quote as I’ve been a bit busy with other stuff.

I’ll ask tomorrow.

I could do with one of these filters.
I’ve switched off our machine because of the smell!

For those that own these, what do people think of them please? The thread seems to be inconclusive.

I am thinking about getting two (one for each side of the house as it is large) with the NOx filters (to reduce the risk of smells from the loft/log burners etc.). The aim would be to have improved air quality (we have high CO2 overnight) and also reducing condensation on a large aluminium window.

We have a 5 bed house , 1930’s.
We had loads of condensation on windows and a damp bathroom. i worked out it was trapped air between shutters have decided it isn’t doing anything.
The bathroom I upgraded the fan and fitted trickle vents.

We have to have it on top speed and its quite noisy.

I’m not convinced it’s worth it, trickle vents much better!
Cold air in the winter meant heating worked harder.
I switched it off last week.

My mothers large house a has a system whereupon it draws the air out of the house with the fresh air coming via the trickle vents. Probably better for fresher air.

It’s probably good in a flat or similar with not much scope for opening windows.

I might remove and sell it.

4 Bed Early 80's House that has had aspects of the original build improved to the detriment of air circulation (DG, CWI, LI and UFI) which drove the purchase a year or so back

I don't run it 24/7 in Autumn, Winter and Spring I run it opposite to CH (So during the day when we are out and CH is off and at night when CH is off) I think speed setting 4

Summer it runs 24/7 (it switches off when loft temps exceed 22 Deg from memory) Speed Setting 6 because the loft takes a while to cool (so it is off for a large chunk of time)

No more wiping condensation off windows in the mornings

House humidity levels are kept under control

Noise is barely noticable

Only complaint is occasionally the house smells a bit lofty - not fully emptied yet but getting closer - hence I will be ordering the filters but continuing to empty the crap that has been stored in the loft when it should have been chucked
