Victorian, detached and double garage biggrin

Love it, though I'm a sucker for Georgian and Victorian. If I had to live in London, that would do me. It's on a road but what house in London isn't?

As a layout, I can guarantee that it would make a very nice family home as my Victorian house has a very similar floorplan and it just works.

Thanks for confirming, I was worried with only 9,200 sqft that me and my 12 children would trip over each other wink

If it had a double garage and was detached it would be £10 million biggrin
The house is only half of the £5m being asked. The other half pays for the view.

Here's an actual house for half that, in (well, near) Richmond.

OK, not technically that Richmond....
The better Richmond, imo.
Lovely house.

Could do with the neighbours being a bit further away though.

A propos of nothing; how far away do neighbours have to be before they're not actually neighbours?

Depends on the house and area I suppose.

I was just slightly surprised how surrounded that place was in the video drone shot.

I get you.

Wouldn't bother me in the slightest though, and I'd take that setting over the other Richmond house yes

I'm a very private person.

Gotta be wary of those Terminators. wink

Wow love it, exactly our taste, and they have the same mahjong sofa as us

Generous without being ridiculously big, good proportions in all rooms, right size garden for me

I am about 6.5m short on budget though smile

Love it. Mainly because it is in Colorado. My favourite place on earth (Or any other planet for that matter)

I wouldn’t want to live in London, but if I had to and had the necessary dosh this would tick every box. Quite lovely.

You honestly wouldn't want to live on Kew Road. Pretty relentless traffic, including a lot of buses.

Today, this appeals quite a bit. I'd need to build a garage with an office over it, obviously...

That's a very (very) busy road out front, sadly, but it's a lovely property.

I know it's 3,000+ sqft but I imagine that would be by some margin the most expensive property ever sold in Torcross, too. Because it's so flat around the ley you don't get stunning views either.
£1.4 M would be strong money even for Dartmouth / Kingswear (not Salcombe though!)

Shame it's on a fairly busy main road really. And both houses either side look like they've been divided up into flats. Which is sub optimal

Just in a side street (preferably a cul de sac) would suffice FFS biggrin
Yes. That'll do.

The claim of great "Interaction with its setting" is what I would question and my concern would apply to any such building in a similar setting. It's a personal thing and I recognise that we can't all live in period mansions in the countryside but maybe some places of outstanding natural beauty should be sacrosanct.

However, I was going to pull the trigger regardless but the vulnerability to snipers from the ridge would rule it out for me.

It’s lovely in terms of the house but that road can be absolutely catastrophic traffic wise!

8m to possibly not be able to leave your house half the day? No way.

I'll se what else I can find. I like the style though, despite also liking lots of smaller rooms to break off into for a bit of quite space...
