I wasn't for a moment suggesting one would touch a single piece of FLW furniture, by the way hehe

I'm more of a Prairie Period fan tbh - which houses never seemed to be built on the prairie for some reason, but which the builders/designers of Colorado Ranch-Tat could usefully take a leaf from the book of, iyswim.

This is very local to me, it's a lovely part of the world in general (IMO of course) and if you fancy having a place between the beach and a National Trust woodland in an AONB then you could do a lot worse than this....

You might get a bit of change from £1m as well....

It looks like this includes the property behind as well, nice to have some parking included...

That's a very appealing house. I like it a lot.

I'm sure it's a classic in its time but it does look just a teansy bit like a gun emplacement.

Potential noise concerns but otherwise doesn't look too bad... Leasehold too which may put some off...

I'd sooner have that underwater place from the other thread.

Saw this while looking at houses in the local area.

Not my cup of tea, likely because I am getting old and miserable and there are too many stairs but would have loved it if I was still in my 20's / 30's.

Someone has put a lot of work into the place though.

I was very enthusiastic about this (with the same concerns as you WRT stairs - but then Mrs Iroc read the particulars... building 2 sits on top of a 300 foot deep, glass-covered well. <shudder> That's me out. A whole bucketload of nope (as irrational as that is!)

Your "underwater" comment piqued my interest - hence asking for a link.

So prone to flooding then, not underwater

I took "that underwater place" to mean an actual underwater dwelling - and was disappointed irked

Not for sale, but "for hire" wink The Conrad Muraka in the Maldives, lower level bedroom for Mr Brasi to sleep with the fishes - https://www.conradmaldives.com/stay/the-muraka/ perfect for pervy scuba divers.

They were going to do half submerged houses in Dubai, not sure if started or not but still offered - https://www.propertyfinder.ae/en/buy/dubai/villas-...
