Terrible area. That house has been on the market for a while. Totally overpriced
Its a fantastic area, but its a terrible road. One road back and its one of the best residential areas in east london.

So the owners can still find their houses when it floods.

Lovely house and island, shame it's so far north. Been to Hamburg more than a couple of times in the spring and it's noticeably colder, even more so with some wind, no doubt due to the influence of Baltic Sea

Pricey, but I like it.

Floorplan shows a small courtyard and a double garage.

Downside is it's on a busy-ish road. Though the wall probably helps.

About 500m down the road from that (on an access road to a Posh school) is

It is "listed" though so that could cause headaches.

It is very tall and the bottom half does look like a car park

I think that you're desperately stretching to find a negative there.

Even if that part of the building did look like a car park, if that was my house I wouldn't give anything resembling a rats arse biggrin

The road can't be all that busy, sunloungers in the front garden.

It's on my commute. 75% of the time it's fine. 25% of the time the traffic into Kingston and Bushy Park is stationary on your doorstep. Evenings are quieter except for every muppet with a straight-through in SW London wanted to test out their exhaust on your doorstep.

How about these from East Sussex... https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop... Country
This is really lovely, can’t see very much wrong with it at all. Even seems kinda reasonable price wise.

The first one: lovely house but my god I’d hate to live on that road. I live in Hampton Wick, the Kingston end of that road, and at least a couple of times each night you can hear bikes and fast cars floor it the whole way down that stretch.

Second one, they say it has a garden but as far as I’m aware these back right onto the park? I really like this area but those don’t offer enough space or garaging for the money imo.

Different strokes for different folks though. Both leagues head of that huge London mansion a few posts back that looks like a hotel inside.

Cocaine store.
Multi million pound house & the agents cant spell,as it has a "PLUNG POOL" which is either "Representing the resonant sound made by a tennis racket striking a ball." (Oxford Dictionary), OR "a woman may feel plung when she’s hungry for cock realizing she’s about to receive it. "(Urban Dictionary) Sounds like the latter would be more common in an oligarch's gaff!

the below has come up in my local area, and whilst I appreciate its not quite pawn in terms of the thread, its a realistic aspiration for me. I read this thread and see some valid criticism, so would really appreciate if someone could tell me why this is good bad or indifferent

The boot room doesn't have a shower for when you come in soaking from a bike ride or a dog walk.

Erm, that's about it. (HDR pictures aside.)

I don't know the local area, but there seems to be plenty of golf around...

I have previously lived in and around Camberley several times before, and the town is a good example of a place that is still in need of an injection of taste and investment. Notwithstanding, it has a station and some very nice properties, this being one. I like it, and it's well situated in a nice part of town.

Criticisms - all I can see superficially is that access into the garages looks very tight! The décor is dated, but that won't be your problem, although the artex ceilings, the bedroom sink unit and that awful fireplace in the sitting room would need attention. The orangery looks like a PVC thing so might be either redders or Baltic, but it looks OK. Overall, a thumbs-up, noting home counties pricing.
