Does this mean that the guests swimming in the pool with their goggles on can see what's going on in the bedroom?

or vice versa wink

Hadlow Castle.

My Grandad used to sit atop that with his rifle during WWII downing the Luftwaffe. Or trying.

It once sold for £1 because it was such a liability. I remember some 40 years ago being at a garden party there in a breeze and lumps of masonry landing on the lawn. I have a feeling that the turrets are now glass fibre.

That makes sense.. On streetview from a few years ago the turrets appear to be completely absent. £4.5m spent on restoring it a few years ago and it's now marketed at £1.6m. I'd like to spend a weekend there.

A holiday there would be fun, but whilst the property and it’s grounds are impressive, the surroundings and setting spoils it as a place to buy if I were in the market for something different.

There are many more floors in that building than on the floorplan.

So

Agreed, Hadlow isn't all that. It never has been in my lifetime. It is part way between Tonbridge and Maidstone, which are both economically depressed towns.

I take it this hasn't actually been built yet and the 90M Euro is the projected cost... or do you also need to cough up 25M Euro so no-one else stakes a claim to the land?!

"Conceptualized by Israeli specialists, the complex has a multilevel security system and reaches highest security standards including the bunker. Ample 16 cars underground lobby-parking. It's possible to acquire the plot free from any legal challenge by third parties for €25.000.000."
The multi-level security system/bunker is accessed by the pool sliding to one side? Missile included? Henchmen included/liquidated? So many essential details missing...

Nice but Launceston is a fair way from the nice seaside bits of Cornwall but I suppose if you want to be away from the tourists hotspots then thats not a concern.

I get forced to stop in Launceston every time we come back from Cornwall as that's where the Jo Downs glass factory is and my wife is an addict. rolleyes

WTF am I supposed to do with THAT? hehe
That really is the question though isn't it. One family living in that is just ridiculous. Even if you had 8 kids you'd be rattling around in there rarely seeing anyone else.

Yes, the sun came up so it looks like this

Unless, of course, I am missing something
How did that sell for only 2.3 million a year ago!?
Must be a token sale amount or something.
