Have we had this yet?

Cornwall water tower

Not far from my parents. Would have incredivble views across to St. Michael's Mount and Marazion bay (on a clear day!). Might be a bit eerie when the sea mist rolls in though!

The vendor will be paying £40k+ for the agent’s work yet those photos were what they got. Dreadful.

Interesting. I recall work starting on the house but don't think I've seen it finished.

The pictures of the old purple house bring back memories of the Buttermere-Sail Beck horseshoe fell race. You used to drop down to the purple house, grab a plastic cup of water, then straight back up to the top of Causey Pike. Brutal race.

Tiny plot, covered in telecoms kit, right on top of the neighbours, not exactly close to anything.

Might work if you wanted somewhere to sit with a rifle during a zombie apocalypse but as water towers go that's not exactly the best.

It's close to the beach and a pub! Plenty to do around there. You would spend half the year with no views at all though!

Spent a lot of time in Newlands over the years since being a youngster but I can’t remember seeing anyone living in the Purple House.

The only negative for me is that it’s on the west side of the valley and it will not get the sun later on .

Still wouldn’t say no though.

Photographed with a toaster. A worn out and dirty one. Appalling.

Quite a property and in nice location with South aspect views of South Downs.

Too many bedrooms for most people though biggrin

I suspect it will be turned into a hotel or segregated into flats.

I suspect that’s why little effort with pics as not really marketing to home buyers, hoteliers will just initially care about outside and floor plan, as they will refurb the whole interior anyway....

But not if I win euro millions tonight though biggrinbiggrin

We used to pass the derelict Purple House regularly when visiting The Lakes over the years, and then the construction of the replacement. The finished result is wonderful and the location spectacular.

I'm always suspicious of EA-speak. When they say it's surrounded by 108ha of parkland, they're not actually saying that you're buying that too.
