Effortlessly elegant, move it from Beverly Hills to make it affordable and it would probably work anywhere, doesn't appear to be for sale though.

I didn't say it was exceptional; just that it's not awful.

Unoffensive is probably the worst I could say about it.

One of those places where you know exactly what it will be like inside, without looking.

Well I looked and it was EXACTLY as expected.
You are incorrect wink
We'll have to agree to disagree.

The interior is so predictable it's almost funny.

I like the garden elevation (excluding the dormers) but the front is a bit 'McMansion'. The combination of flat topped and rounded windows (above the door) is a bit jarring and I don't like the columns. That said, I think the photos are slightly wide angle which is not flattering.

Nothing a bit of ivy wouldn't fix.
I agree with that, definitely prefer the rear.

As I said above, I don’t like architectural pastiches. That said, it’s fairly well executed in that it’s a reasonably faithful rendition of a classic Georgian house with accurate proportions and detailing. It’s therefore far better than the awful, sprawling mock-Georgian attempts we see on this thread (and on occasion the property pawn thread) with plastic porch columns, uPVC windows and astroturf ‘lawns’ hehe

I really like it! It looks nothing like a premier inn
Ditto. The premier inn schtick is just unimaginative hyperbole. It's sometimes deserved, but not in this case.
Presumably also Premier Inn?

This is also the gable end of something considerably bigger which I've never realised previously.

Dude, the exterior looks sod all like a premier inn, and the interior, while not to my taste, doesn't either.

Give the guy a break, everyone. He saw some purple soft furnishings and a wall-mounted telly. It could have happened to any one of us.

Looks behind desk.

Notes purple armchair and wall-mounted TV.

Decides to keep quiet hehe

I've been to dinner there a few times - it wasn't a patch on a Premier Inn breakfast.

Mind you, the interior is nothing like the one causing so much disagreement either.....

It's glorious and in a nice location.
Been on sale for a while though - not so easy to sell a pile like that.

Yep that is property pawn. What a fab place (apart from the hideous kitchen). That's about the right size for the two of us! smile those pristine driveways would have tyre marks in no time biggrin

Really keen on this, don’t know much about the area but looks quite a decent location:

I'd take that over the beige place anytime.
