Considerably less p*rn than the $100m US offers above, but having rented the glass balconied cottage on the right in photo1, twice, I've probably walked past this a dozen times, thinking it was some kind of run down boat/sail store:

Looks nicely done, but it would be interesting to know what the outside looks like.

There's a pic of the back on the details. I like it but they're a bit naughty as it isn't actually on the water and whilst that shot above is very close by you can't actually see the creek from the house.

That's one of my pet peeves. Photos in listings should be taken either ON the property or OF the property but never OFF the property OF something else entirely...

Love the log burger / storage heater combo... been there on a slightly smaller place... £16K a year to "heat", ie. stop everything freezing in winter!

And... whats that building behind thats literally feet away but not part of the deal?

They've been trying to sell one wing for about £800k for a good while. I know It's been empty for a long time aside from the live-in grounds person who I believe is leaving soon which may be what's prompted the sale as a whole, but selling the stables separately is interesting.

Can't help but think it takes a certain sort of insanity to sign up (and spend big) on taking on a full, massive renovation of a 2* listed building...

Largely irrelevant since it's the building, not the furniture, that's for sale.

That said, it's clear that if there's an opportunity to sit down, there's no shortage fo somewhere to park an arse or 10.... lazy fking Scots, eh, TheJimi? wink

Besides, all that grey would clash with my South Beaches.

I'm sorry. I have no idea now why I wrote that.

Aw yiss.

Some interior tweaking to my taste and that would be tremendous.

One of the nicest we’ve had on here for some time, against often strong competition too cloud9

This is also rather magnificent... it's all a bit new at the moment, but once lived in for a year or 2 with some personal touches and a bit of colour to the decor, it will be superb.... the location is incredible... and worth the price for the floors and ceilings alone biggrin

That's more my taste.

I would have it for the vaulted ceilings!

Who needs Italy when Wales offers everything for a fraction of the cost (with rain)?

Or not...

Actually quite a nice property, but awful photography

Windows the size of postcards. It's really dark inside.
