Good - pool, gym, sauna, triple garage, kitchen diner/snug setup looks really good, large garden and patio areas. Plus it ooks impressive!
Bad - it's one of the most expensive houses in Norfolk but the views are of a housing estate. For that price I'd want something right in the centre or out in the sticks in some land but this seems an odd mix of the two. "on a quiet road in the village" is a lie, there are 2 schools on that road (one is 200 yards up the road) and it's not a village; it's a busy suburb of Norwich. Sitting/Cinema rooms are on the same floor as the master bedroom, and to get to bedroom 2 from the sitting room you have to go through the master bedroom or down some stairs and up others.
Can't make my mind up!
That is a very strange house for the location.https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/108451823#/

I guess it’s someone’s passion project and fair play to them but £1.3m buys you a lot of character and amenity in Norfolk.
That size house in Norfolk but with less than half an acre seems terribly mismatched.
In that location and with that design I don’t think that it can qualify as pawn but neither is it a nightmare, it’s just ‘someone will love it’.

$35m, I wonder how much is the hurricane insurance is.
They've had a couple already and Bahamian build standards are actually quite stringent, so unless part of your island actually washes away or is inundated for hours they survive them pretty well (cf Eastern Grand Bahama & Abaco courtesy of Dorian )Besides, as the residents of Crooked Island told us, hurricane insurance doesn't cover flood damage, which is often the main part.

Who would buy the house below it on the "Exclusive development of 4&5-bed houses" (as it was marketed) FFS?
Looks like the owner developed the whole site, both lousing up the view from the big house and making the houses below feel overlooked. Still, time and some hedging might soften it.Harry Flashman said:

Absolutely tremendous place and location. The very definition of "real estate pawn" for me.
