This is incredible and even though 100 times out of my price range, I reckon it's pretty good value too...
Except you'd have to spend another small fortune on ripping out every single last piece of carpet, curtain and wall covering to make it less painful to look at. This is incredible and even though 100 times out of my price range, I reckon it's pretty good value too...

Doesn't the prom run almost exactly East to West? So this view is looking what, South-South-East? Just the direction I normally look for a good sunset.
Could the EA not have taken one photo when arriving to photo the property and another when leaving after visiting every room and left the lights on, by which time it's sunset.malaccamax said:
Who doesn't like Brighton? Fun town, lots happening. Great countryside nearby. Links to London.
Loving the ingenuity of that EA with the fake 'sunset' shot!
Me.Loving the ingenuity of that EA with the fake 'sunset' shot!
It's an utter hole. Luxury cheek by jowl with abject poverty, without any of the delights that make it acceptable in London.
Huge costs for pretty much everything, and a rabid anti-car culture. Getting in an out is a torture, especially when the weather is good.
Loads of low level crime.
Far better natural environment in either direction along the coast.
It's Bognor Regis, but with better transport links and a stter local authority.

And could he also have asked the people on the prom to stand still for several hours?Harry H said:

Party town with a beach that's a whole less rubbish than Newquay (okay, minus the surfing)
Surfing but without too much of the Party Town atmosphere you say? Perhaps you need a blank slate project in Perranporth, with a double garage and walking distance from the surf. (Well, the tide goes out quite a way twice a day, but it's still walk-able.)https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/117097616#/...

And an air of liberal superiority.I also grew up in London, so can see exactly how it's become "Camden but worse, just with beaches and no race riots".

Brighton is great if you're a young singleton looking to party. But the prospect of living in the town itself or having a family there is not one I'd ever contemplate.
Outside of the abundance of hospitality venues, it's a sad, dirty, rough seaside town.
Plenty of better places if you want to live on the south coast.
