There's a nice surprise in the garage pictures!
I'm generally not a fan of those types of properties, but there's a lot to like about that place.

That's a winner for me.
Agreed, there is nothing I don't like about that place. Except not really wanting to live in the Midlands.

I wonder if that is someone senior in the motor trade being next to Gaydon and all...

What is the car in the garage?

I like that too. I'm not sure the picture of the knife drawer adds much value for the prospective purchaser though.

I know we all love to carp about minor details in houses we can't afford and about stuff that will be going anyway, but who wants a TV in the bathroom?

and I carp on about those carping on hehe

Really though, as someone who doesn't own a telly, seeing one in a bathroom is jarring AF to me.

xactly. As it is you have a lengthy walk down loads of steps with your weekly shop in the pouring rain! Might look all very nice but not at all functional. As a side issue, where did the mill race once go? Presumably under the mill but one would expect a mill to have some evidence of a stream yet there is none. All very odd to me.
The mill race is still visible in the map view, but there's no trace of it on the satellite photo. It looks like the mill race went through the middle of the building, and they've reused the space for the indoor pool.

And it's literally only two small fields away from the Aston Martin factory and test track at Gaydon.

That's lovely, however too close to the car factories and test tracks for my imaginary millions.

Don’t think that would bother me.

Problem is there are two huge new build estates growing towards it, unless you own all the land you may find yourself surrounded by Taylor Whimpeys finest.

I haven’t been down the road past Lighthorne and Gaydon in ages so wasn’t aware of the new builds. I’m not surprised though. Stratford and Warwick have expanded hugely in the last few years.

I went down two weeks ago to view a house, the noise from the M40 was incredible. I suspect it would be just as bad in that house.
