If I didn't have kids, i'd have put an offer on this.

Okay it's not on the same scale as some, but I like cosy stuff and am a less is more type of guy. Downside is there's no parking, but I could paddleboard and surf the sandbank break at a moments notice, walk the beach every day, decent pubs around the corner....perfect for me.

That's lovely, nothing to dislike there, fab.

Could definitely imagine a very happy life there. Like you, I am very much a less is more type of guy and have no desire at all to live in a big house. When I bought a bigger place I immediately missed my old cosier place and promptly moved "backwards" size wise.
Is Pakefield nice ?
I'm in Lowestoft next week and staying in Pakefield for a change...

Seafront location, good schools nearby, access to great public parks, what more could you want?

Apart from, a nice garden, a decent garage, some privacy... I'm sure there are other things! After all, this is property porn, not 'what interesting place can I fond for as little money as possible' hehe
The concept of "p*rn" is entirely subjective, surely?

It was a bit tongue in cheek. Didn't think it fitted the nightmares thread but was quirky enough to warrant discussion!

It is indeed. The summer house would make a fantastic home office with an amazing view.

Odd that there are no interior pictures or video footage of the 'Garden House'.

If being picky looking from Google maps isn't the view over the carpark next door, then beach etc?

The Property marker on the Googler Maps plan is wrong. the front of the cottage looks directly at the church. From the summer house / shed there is just what looks to be a footpath and then the sand dunes and beach.

I expect you could let that place out almost every day of the year.

That is both quite weird and very cool. It does seem to have a serious lack of privacy though.

Yes the view at the end of the garden is, but the rest is parallel to the carpark hence the fenced off sitting area at back of house and large hedge as you walk down the garden in the video. Like I said I was being picky wink I'm sure your right as the cottage next door in the carpark (Beach Cottage) is a holiday let.
