My house renovation

Looks great..... please could you share details on the blind supplier?
We've been looking for something suitable for our living room window (front of the house) and our master bedroom (front & rear).
Our windows tilt / open inwards, and we can't fix anything to the frames (screwed in) as it affects the eco pass we have.
Given there are so many houses like ours in Lux, I thought it would be easy to find a solution - well, it is, but they're >EUR4k for 3 windows!

They'll travel to you and their travel fee gets refunded if you buy. Our family has used these guys on many houses, quality is top notch.
Sadly, you have the same issue I had. My windows also opened inwards, so I had to replace that whole window so they opened the other way. Not sure you'll be able to find many options, as these guys were the ones who told me I'd have to change it around.

Considered converting the garage and applying for a garage and road access at the bottom of the garden yet?
Ummmm, is that something I should be doing?!anonymous said:

Yeah, I must admit I was amazed how easy that was. Probably took an hour, if that!! I was expecting days of frustration and swearing. Some of it just fell off! Once we get a new skip delivered we'll have the whole room cleared pretty quickly, rather encouraging to see we can then get cracking with the new bathroom! UTH said:
Same thing happened to me last time I had a Phal too.More seriously, I reckon it's a good idea to paint the plaster before you tile, that way the tiles are never more stuck to the wall than the paint is. They're not going to fall off, but they come off very easily too.

Nice tip, just a layer or two of the plaster sealant stuff, right? No need for a full on paint job?
