I initially looked at that and wondered why you had hung a TV on the outside of your garage.

I went the tape and filling the joints route in my garage conversion, upstairs and downstairs. Thought I’d save the costs of having it skimmed.

Wish I hadn’t!! It’s been the worst job of any of it and I still haven’t finished.

Moral of the story, pay a plasterer! Haha

Maybe cover the glass in the stick on 'security film' which makes it remarkably tough.

You have a window anyway, and the scrotes have cordless angle grinders now, so if they want in they will, and mainly they dont.

Looks brilliant.

I asked a question about your roof light a while back seen in the background of one this thread's photo's.

My plans have changed as we've moved rather than extend but does mean I need to build a garage. Maybe I'll do a thread if we can afford to do a build.

I don't think I'm as brave/talented/committed as you mate. I will get a mate to quote on the base plus brickies for the walls. It'll be attached to the house to only 3 walls plus work to make good against the house.

The roof will be really basic and have a couple of people to help do that plus sparkie in the family.

The. Windows and doors.

It sounds really easy typing it out...

Cheers

Looking good. I'd do the second coat as easy now whilst all empty rather than regret it later when you have yo mask stuff off. That's going to be a very useful space.
