Four pages in and nobody has mentioned a bath as being the most appropriate place to clean old motorcycle parts when the wife is out?!

This forum is going downhill!! hehe
That’s because the best place is actually the dishwasher!

I was interviewing a potential cleaner and the look of disgust when I removed two tool boxes from the dish washer whilst chatting to her was not a good look, she did not accept the cleaning job.

My wife had caught me testing the glue strength of titebond water proof glue in our dishwasher before much shouting from the wife, I blamed her for coming home from work early, that didn't go down well either..

I used to do a lot of distance running, a long soak in a nice hot bath after a long run was most enjoyable so I would always want a bath in one of the bathrooms.

If I was buying a house to be honest a bath / shower dilemma would be way way down in my list of priorities.

There are so many other more important things to consider that I think it would barely register.

Just checked my photos and It was just under 8 years ago I installed the bath in our bathroom, I can honestly say it has never been used as a bath, it has a shower and has been used as a shower though. We really only use the en-suite shower.

I have no kids and most likely will have kids. First thing we done was rip out the bath and instal a double rainfall shower. 6ft6 doesn't do baths. Will we regret it when we get a kid? If needs must ill buy a blow up bath, or they can wash in the hot tub.
