covering up recent cage next to our boundary - ideas please
Discussion
You can’t win with the kind of nutter that needs. Cage for cats: you know the super special ones that are so adorable and need a £100 at the vets each month.
I’d check planning: I have a feeling it needs to be 1 m from the boundary and it’s possibly too tall. But 2.4m is yr normal limit.
How about a car sounder: drive the monsters mad.
Burn tyres.
A fire pit
Dog compound on your site full of dags

due to not being more than 2.5metres, can be as near to the boundary as they like, and the total square metre is less than 15 metres so same rule applies, so its definitely all been thought through, shame we was out when they started constructing it, although maybe just as well, since our reaction to it, would have deffo kicke off, its a family member that doesnt live there who put it up, even the neighbour who lives there said it was bigger than they thought it would be, brilliant!!!
will keep looking at best option to hide the flippin thing

why not ask them to clad the section of that side which is visible to you?
three horizontal treated battens
feather edge cladding nailed on
run the cladding high to hide the crappy roof detail
possibly add a capping piece but may look better without
leave to weather
done
wouldn't look much different to a summer house
it looks to have been done to tight budget so you may have to contribute/pay but easy to diy and not a crazy amount on materials, even at current prices
yes it will leave a block of timber, but it will soften once weathered and can be broken up with light foliage rather than needing to block everything with a bamboo hedge
