I'm afraid to say this rental has already been pulled from Rightmove, it was only on for about 10 minutes. However, most of the advert still remains. Only a grand a month, enjoy!

“This lovely annex…”

Must check my dictionary. This must be an obscure definition of the word “lovely” that I’ve never come across before.
And I'm not sure a shed on the patio can really be called an annex either!
And I’ll wager it doesn’t have pp smile
what size person is meant to sleep on that bed?

I'd say eclectic. Where the diverse sources used for inspiration were not very diverse and had no taste, and were blind.

I never thought I would say I was happy to see a grey room. They probably think they are bang on the maximalism trend. It just hurt my head to look at. headache

To be fair, if you manage to look beyond the clashing patterns, all the walls are white, so it's just the floors that need sorting.

I thought the same, but don't forget the tiled stairs and the walls in the garden that are now going to need painting over every few years. No matter what colour you paint them, it'll look odd.

The maximalist trend can look really good when done well, in this case it's a swing and a miss.

I feel a little unkind here as it's not really a nightmare per se. It's a wonderful timewarp - but given I couldn't live there and it's in the arse-end of nowhere here we are...

It's behind the tree in the photo of the back of the house. You can see it in the satellite view.
