The downstairs layout is also a mess. The hallway takes up far more square footage than it should, and look at the trek you'd need to take to get to the front room from the front door. On the plans the mentioned bog is also boxed in. To answer a question from elsewhere, yes, they've not met building regs, stating you need two doors between a bog and a kitchen.

That was changed a while ago, you only need one door now so long as the toilet has a basin. Obv. this still wouldn't comply.

I feel a little unkind here as it's not really a nightmare per se. It's a wonderful timewarp - but given I couldn't live there and it's in the arse-end of nowhere here we are...

Thats superb.

The terrace with an open plan sh*tter and outside washing machine, less so.

Really stretching the concept of 'nightmare' here lads
Yup.

Nothing bad there.
We looked at a similar house with an inverted pitch roof like that and the mortgage advisor laughed at it - no chance of getting a mortgage on it!

That looks like the kind of place where people argue over parking spaces and get murdered for it.

Lot of time and effort gone into fitting that placcy lawn. Should sell though as the house is on a "South After Development".

Generally I agree with you but if you spend weeks or even months away from home at a time it's great!

We were told plastic grass is dangerous for dogs because it can burn their pads.
