Like a time capsule - Can imagine an elderly lady has lived there all her days.
Nice little plot - so live in it whilst building, then re-purpose the cottage.
Miss Haversham?
This is all very old and heavily 'curated', but clean as a whistle. It's really unusual - oftentimes that's not the case as we see on many rather sad occasions. An elderly lady who maintained her fierce independence, I'd say smile
Sweet little old lady, or, a very, very, weird bloke.

Is that a gold swan tap?

I'd redesign the bathroom around that suite. Glorious.

What's the story there then? Looks like it was abandoned in a hurry.

Weird one - no internal viewings?? Wonder what happened - internal pics look like someone just upped and left. Still Mr Kipling cake box on the kitchen etc. Streetview shows in 2011/2012 it being a nice looking new build although its for sale in one of the pics and then just looks like it fell into disrepair.

It’s a bank repossession.

Possibly with the owner (or there half brother twice removed) still living there…

Sounds like it's about to become a repossession if it doesn't sell at auction - "Mortgagees in possession".

It's got the all-important wood burning stove, however.

It's just installed into the blue Renault van (see the chimney).
