This is local to me, rural enough but between 2 OK little towns, no road noise from main roads, decent garaging.

Far more interesting than it initially looks.

Definitely. The garden could do with having some features added but it's a lovely property and tastefully done.

That's a cracking find, Josh yes

I really like that. Bit too out the way for my tastes, but I love the property.

The irony of calling out Sevenoaks for snooty types before listing a property before posting a property just outside Whitstable is strong wink

Whitstable is OK, I spend a fair bit of time there and don't have much issue, what annoys me about Whitstable is the locals moaning about people coming from London, and no I am not from London wink How snooty can they really be, they have to drive 10 miles to gain access to a Waitrose!

I live in Faversham and that is 5 mins from this house and has a market, plenty of pubs (15+).

It really is MY ideal house it has been reduced 150,000 and still think its overpriced in this area not that I am in this league!!

Yeh that yank car workshop crap all over it is quite a strange one (don’t bother Jimi).

Nice place, possibly a bit large.
Don't bother what?

Question that you appear to have zero concept of the subjective and the idea personal taste?

Wouldn't dream of it dude. You crack on smile

It’s an interesting house.

It looks a bit awkward on its plot though, almost too much. In description flat land around the house. It needs some landscaping and proper planting I feel to do it justice.

Big old lump in Surrey today, too big obviously but quite a stunning building.

ETA yes Jimi, please, it’s so fking boring - we are allowed to comment on how atrocious the decor is in some of these houses without you saying the same thing over and over and over.

That's fantastic. Fantastic price obviously too. Pool/gym and stable block would make amazing houses just by themselves!

And ironically, you're also saying the same thing over and over again - essentially that anything that isn't to your taste is weird, atrocious or whatever wink

Let's not subject everyone else to another tedious okgo/Jimi spat and just ignore each other, shall we?

Local restaurant's a bit tasty too.

Excellent modern house, but what are the 4 pipes in the kitchen - additional extraction or summat?

Yes, you're probably right, they just jar in what's a very coherent design.

Yeah, they're a bit jarring to my eyes.

I’ve been watching this one for a couple of months now - it’s modest compared to a lot here but I really like it.

I can’t work out why it’s not SSTC yet. Looks nice inside, manageable garden and some out buildings/garage etc. EPC is mid-range so not a money pit to heat. The only downside I can really see is that there is literally bugger all in the village ie no pub, shop etc.

Anyone know the area?
I have a friend that lives in the village - she says that there have been several planning applications put in to build behind the houses to infil the open land with loads of houses. She is to the north of this house (on the other side of the road) and currently has fields behind her house, but for how much longer, she isn’t sure.
Interesting to know, thanks.

Dunno - what prompted the thought was that they had chairs there and it was obviously used as a breakfast bar. High ceiling extract as fitted would be notably ineffective in that context, so maybe experience had meant that it needed to be augmented over diners?

Dangly poles of controversy.
