Very nice. Where do the church goers park though?
I'd let them both park on my forecourt, no worries smile

No no no. You can't let the peasants rub shoulders with the Lord of the Manor.

Slippery slope old boy.

I don't think the vicar would like the sort of parties I have, either. hehe

Well you're most definitely on the housewarming attendee list. Leave your name with my Man.

Right, some Friday fun.

From the stuff that's been posted on this thread, what would be the one place you'd choose in reality?

I'll start by saying that this is mine -

How much are you paying the estate agent to get the drop pin in the wrong place.

Lovely house, but that sort of attention to detail would piss me off.

Obviously not the sort of detail that would put buyers off.

Do you have a path to the sea, a bit of private beach ? A boat house.

Obviously it's about 900k over any budget I could hope for, but at the price, I'd want a boat house that I get to via a lift cut into the centre of the hill.

Most of the time agents do that on purpose I reckon. I’ve seen a fair few houses where they’ve dropped the pin somewhere more attractive to a buyer.

Could be up there that a postcode covers a large area due to sparse population mind you.

You jest, but every time I walk along there, I comment that if that place was mine, I'd bolt a few sport climbing routes up that rock face, as well as a top rope anchor.

I always assumed it was just an automated thing with the pin going in the middle of a postcode area. It's rarely on the actual property.

Yes, I think you're right. It clearly takes effort to position the pin accurately, so most EAs don't. It's particularly frustrating to open streetview and find you're viewing the inside of a coffee shop...

Is that... a mausoleum? So the dead family will be watching everything that you do on their land?

Nope
At least they’ve demolished the crematorium…

Mausoleum is a good building, wouldn’t concern me.

This is the kind of house and estate I’d buy given the opportunity. Despite its size the owners have done a great job of making it look very homely unlike many of the country houses we see in here.

Correct and it's a completely routine thing for most people hence the car parks you'll find at the shops and amenities etc..
