Just been out on the (e)bike and past this - great spot, 117 acres and on the Helmsley TT, making driving to and from the house a chuckle at least.

Reminds me of when I built houses out of Lego when I was a child. I never had enough bricks of the same colour to build what I wanted.

Guess with that user name you can relate? wink

If ever a house needed a nice render...even pebble dash would improve that, but I guess a powerfully built director would dominate I mean demolish it and put something nice at the end of the road where that seat and parasol is...

ETA you think that the EA could afford a website that fits more that just mobiles too!

Who could live in a house like this? Toseland or Baylis? Or has some just bought it as an ornament?

Lovely setting, bonkers piece but that’s the Downs for you.

£4M laugh

Looks like 3 or 4 ex-council bungalows knocked through.

That’s a hell of a lawn though! Nice outlook.
Does look a bit like a new build doctors surgery from the outside though.

I like it but I think I'd want the kitchen/family room down stairs so I'd swap that over.

I like it, deceptively big (relatively) subtle - but then again it is also a stload of wedge!

Anybody fancy a small piece of Derbyshire life? Looks to be relatively cheap compared with the usual stuff on here.

I'm not sure Mrs Vega would allow a motorbike in the living room.

Derbyshire has always represented good value. Traditionally hampered by a lack of commutable areas with decent jobs but perhaps this will change now with WFH.

Mrs Vega is clearly a woman with taste

As much as a Ducati can be a thing of beauty, no way do I want one in the house itself

(see also on the sight of an old V8 block "that would make a lovely coffee table")

Other than that it's nice, though barn needs sorting

That looks nice, but Flagg is a bit bleak (they have a popular yearly horse race)
