I really quite like this.

However in the map there are buildings just to the east of the house that you don’t appear to own.

Is that a farm ? Equestrian centre ?
Equestrian. Those round things are horse walkers, usually found in yards with competition horses.

Lovely.

Wonder if it was a McMansion of its day?

Very much so.... Conkwell was the centre of Neil Mulholland's operation for quite some time, though it was originally converted to equestrian use in the early 80s.

Lovely place.

Gutted. So if I win the Euromillions tonight Neil won't be accepting my offer to take over the rest of that land anytime soon...?

Really love this.
5-10 years in the future when we sell up. This would be perfect.

Agree. Presumably would be 2, maybe 3x the price in more fashionable areas of Italy?

Views would be better with a few huge steels and a wall of glass.

Conversion/extension was pre 2009 I was surprised to see, which may be why it wasn't bolder?

Pretty much perfect. Don’t have £7million though.

Lacking in period features? A disappointing shortage of garaging? The spa lacks architectural appeal? No stables? Could benefit from a sea view?

It’s no good, I have to admit it: that’s a great house.

This is a lovely house. A nice size, amazing views and beautifully finished. Agree on ditching the leopard print wallpaper but if that’s the extent of gripes I think it speaks volumes. Not even that expensive in context…

I love Oban, and I really like that place, but if I was buying a place like that either in or near Oban, with a sea view, I can think of a lot of other properties that would get my money.

That’s almost perfect…..but this worries me

‘The farmhouse has been completely restored, in accordance with all the prevailing anti-seismic regulations’

And it’s nearer my budget

So what if I don’t speak Italian and we’re not in the EU any more……..

Not the house, but that's the first David Brown Automotive GT I have seen outside of shows or DBA marketing.

I think the estate agent photographer thought the same with the 3 photos they took of it, you'd think it was part of the deal but it's not.

Looks like the generic number plate is double sided taped onto the normal plate.

Doesn't seem that bad, I think I could live with it. Seems a decent price although it depends what they actually expect to get for it.

I thought each bedroom having its own staircase to nowhere was "interesting."

There are some lovely touches, though. Like the floor-level window on the first floor landing, giving the perfect framed landscape view as you come up the stairs. The Architect was strong on their "revealing" concept that day...
