I thought I would hate that. Small dingy dark etc. but it’s actually lovely.

what is erosion like there?

Me I could never live near coast, can't predict the future.
No idea but I'm too old (and would be too rich) to worry about it. biggrin

my understanding with houses like this, is that if some coastal defences down the coast, can end up directing erosion to your area. That is why i would steer clear of this properties.

I can't see any change between those two pictures.

It looks like quite mature vegetation on the cliff slope, which suggests that very little erosion is taking place.

That’s lovely. I do like a nice A&C property. Some of the rooms are a bit small and low ceilinged, but that’s part of the character.

I like that, wouldn't even need to decorate though the tight gits aren't even including the fitted carpets! OK, take them then, sure they'll fit just fine in your new house.

With the exception of the kitchen it is dark and dingy

I like the style as a rule, but I do agree with those pointing out the lack of lumens and the proliferation of poke smile

Nah, if I won the lottery I would want a sea view. tongue out
Agreed. That coastal one hits (finally) the right answer for OH and I.
Horses for her. Boats for me.

As for the remoteness. If I am spunking £5m on a house. I can afford my own speedy water transport. (as well as sailboats etc)

LOVE this, but the fixtures and fittings being available via separate negotiation really gets my back up.

I'll take my £2.8M elsewhere.

Ahem.

Indeed, that's the sort that will leave you a garage/ car port of crap that they don't want/ can't be arsed to take with them, or like the st bags on our current house that took all the light bulbs too except the one they snapped off the bulb in the light and left it with broken shards hanging out, plus kids scribbling on the walls and the kitchen that took over 3 days just to make a start on the grease- the fkers...12 years and it still pisses me off especially as I'd scrubbed the place we were leaving so was probably the cleanest it had ever been....

Looking for a place with an annex/separate accommodation, stables and a few acres nothing too silly, okay might be a little way from a pub:

But it does have a control room! One set of curtains matches the wallpaper, so they must really like that design to re-paper a room in another house to match their retained curtains!

Indeed but console yourself that you're the better person, I'm the same I clean a house to a standard hitherto unseen before I leave, as it's the right thing to do.

Back to the topic at hand, Euro millions would have me looking at this place.

That's been on the market for years. I'd imagine it would appeal to a very small pool of buyers. Lovely gardens though. I used to visit when they were open in summer.
