The house itself is lovely but whoever decided to lay all that tarmac needs a slap.
That was the first thing I noticed. Bloody awful.

Lovely.
Bleak.

The house itself is quite nice, but would be grim in winter. I'd also worry about what was going to happen with all those barns immediately behind that aren't part of this property.

I see double glazing,, huge rads, thick walls newly pointed and wood burners. I reckon it would be nice.

Nicely done in parts, but looks like a very windy place to live.
Bit of a stretch to say it's Glasgow... Oh, and for me at least 250K too much.

Quite a journey it's been on, price-wise, in that time.

Where did you get that price history from?

Agents always label anything with a G postcode as Glasgow, it seems. Price is maybe a little toppy, but this is all Air B'n'B/holiday let land now, so the aspirational are moving in. Those of us who seek better value for money would be better advised to look elsewhere, I'd think.

I would change something, the first floor right side bedroom has no bathroom, all bathrooms in the house are ensuite to other bedrooms, the ground floor shower room ensuite does have an exterior door but that's the only accessible WC for visitors to use or for that first floor bedroom user to use, as long as it's not in use already. But there doesn't appear to be a door between the bedroom and the shower room, so if someone is in the bedroom you'll have a viewer. Odd layout.

I must be on a completely different wavelength to a lot of you guys, because if no-one had mentioned the tarmac, I wouldn't have given it a second thought.

I suppose, on reflection, it's not as aesthetically appealing as gravel.
Better for donuts in my supercar though cool

Just spray it down and spin.

Lovely.
Love the house and it’s setting, though I think it would be a bit exposed during the late autumn and winter months. The Heras fencing around the outbuildings to the rear suggests it’s going to be converted, but failing that you’re next door to some pretty run-down structures. Seems a bit toppy at £850k

The Edwardian originality might interest some. I like the exterior and gardens but I can’t look at that bathroom pic without thinking Overlook Hotel

And what a disapointing location!
Such a shame. Wonderful house severely compromised by its surroundings frown
Indeed, 500 yds down the road the surroundings are immeasurably better though - but I would say that 🙂

It's a Chrome plug-in for Rightmove. Sure it was recommended on here!
