The house itself is lovely but whoever decided to lay all that tarmac needs a slap.Bannock said:

Lovely. The house itself is quite nice, but would be grim in winter. I'd also worry about what was going to happen with all those barns immediately behind that aren't part of this property.

Nicely done in parts, but looks like a very windy place to live. Bit of a stretch to say it's Glasgow... Oh, and for me at least 250K too much.

I would change something, the first floor right side bedroom has no bathroom, all bathrooms in the house are ensuite to other bedrooms, the ground floor shower room ensuite does have an exterior door but that's the only accessible WC for visitors to use or for that first floor bedroom user to use, as long as it's not in use already. But there doesn't appear to be a door between the bedroom and the shower room, so if someone is in the bedroom you'll have a viewer. Odd layout.Very near to me, would love it...

I must be on a completely different wavelength to a lot of you guys, because if no-one had mentioned the tarmac, I wouldn't have given it a second thought.
I suppose, on reflection, it's not as aesthetically appealing as gravel.
Better for donuts in my supercar though I suppose, on reflection, it's not as aesthetically appealing as gravel.
Just spray it down and spin.

The Edwardian originality might interest some. I like the exterior and gardens but I can’t look at that bathroom pic without thinking Overlook Hotel
