I'm a little conflicted on this one, there's a lot to like but equally there's stuff would give me pause (the floor-plan is appalling)

House is nice. Bognor? Not so much.
Bersted is usefully separate from Bognor in practical life, but yes - plonk that in Witterings/Birdham/Bosham and double or treble the price...

You say that, but the other places don't have the Birdman rally.

Sorry but that has no redeeming features at all. They also need a new gardener, the topiary is awful.

Think it’s probably quieter now it’s not an active base - my father viewed that place in the ‘80s when it had a couple of thousand acres with it (and was a long, long way off eight million quid).

Having grown up in Bersted, lived there for 22 years and still having parents there, it’s not in any way separate from Bognor. It’s just on the edge.

And I thought the birdman rally left town years ago. Didn’t it move to Worthing?

Most unusual, thought it worth a post. Nice car at 3. Handy for trainspotters too.

It would do for me despite the neighbours and the silly price and it being on the Northern Line.

Yes, I looked at the aerial and some clever developer has created a ribbon development right along the train line.

That is crushingly disappointing for the money and the iconic nature of the building. Terrible thing.

Location, location, location.

It's a modern luxry flat. Perfect for my needs and have you seen the individual lifts.....

The location isn't great. It’s nowhere near anything else of interest without a long walk/annoyingly busy bridges over the river, or a branch line of the tube.

For that amount you buy a lot of flat in a proper part of town.

It appears that the Birdman rally is now shared between Bognor and Worthing.

Loving this at the moment - really nice balance of old and new.

Convert the poolhouse into my home office/hobby room with workshop next door. Rear garden into proper veg patch.

Done.

Inside is nice but budget £50k for a re thatch. That roof is fubared. You might, just might, get away with a re ridge for now but you're only putting off the inevitable.

Designed by architects.

I quote the article.

Armed with sketches, the family then approached the Hungarian architecture firm Hello Wood to turn the design into a reality.
