About to install smart click in our bathroom. I did intend to install the toilet over the flooring but Amtico's instructions warn against doing this (they say to cut the tiles to fit around any heavy/fixed object).

Does anyone have prior experience of this & what the outcome was?

Not used Amtico but I've used other lvt click boards and had no issues laying under a toilet or other fixed item, provided it still has room to expand in one direction.

It can float free in 3 directions, but the shower tray is about 1.5 metres away in the remaining direction & I was hoping to fix & seal there to avoid any risk of water getting under the floor.
