How sturdy is this one?

I'm thinking of using it to attach my x-box steering wheel to place my laptop on.

Very! I have one at home just now for my pregnant wife to eat at and our 3yo climbs on it and doesn't budge it. Oh and the leather covered shaft is available in various colours as well, not just red.

You see some beauties as antiques, which sadly as they are often monsters these days nobody has the space for. I have always fancied one of the partner desks with seating either side.
