Indeed! Seeing these very fashionable bathrooms, then spotting the crapper, makes me think the bathroom is being spoiled by site of such - just an observation! hehe

Strange that the floorplans on the RM page are completely different to those on the brochure.

Also, looks like it's right under the flightpath for Stansted airport.

Great looking house though.
Indeed, the RM ones look completely wrong. Also rather close to the large house just over the hedge which I assume isn't part of the sale (talk of 'shared driveway' in the brochure), so it's nearly a semi looking at the aerial view!
Stunning looking place though.

Don't normally go for new builds, but I might just make an exception for this:

The interior's not to my taste, but I could cope with the morning stroll down the garden on to the Golf course.

It says "Private Parking" in the property details.

For £25m I would bloody hope so!!

Please, somebody from PH buy this.

I note it's leasehold, but that's one hell of a house, in a stunning location for £1.325M.

My mother's plot in Wentworth is about 1.5 acres, including about half an acre of mature woods.

All of the houses around us look exactly the same (versions of that one posted above, just smaller, and in brick rather than stone) - no-one seems to have any imagination/individual taste in the area. Our house is ancient by these standards (at least two thirds of the plots at Wentworth have been redeveloped in the last 10 years)

Developers keep offering Mum money to buy the site. Having seen prices or the homes being thrown up around us, I'm damned well going to develop it myself and sell it on - my Mum will never have to worry about money again!

I'll say this though - rubbish place to live. No proper countryside nearby (its just outside the M25) No-one knows their neighbours, no sense of community, not even any decent local pubs - it's just a giant, posh housing estate. As teenagers, my sister and I were bored rigid until I got my driving licence...

ive been looking at property a lot the last two weeks as am recovering from knee surgery and cant move. Now when i win euromillions on friday, i will naturally buy a london pad to live in with friends, however the country house is a real sticking point. It needs to be big enough for weekends with your mates etc, enough land to have fun and keep my vast collection of cars, and accessible to London either by train and helicopter.

I think my London house will be this:

http://residentialsearch.savills.co.uk/property-de...

but where for the country house... under 10m

That place is definitely haunted smile

I quite like it but it needs a lot of money spending on it.

I promise if I win the lottery I will, and will invite you for a BBQ.

Hell, I'd buy it if I only win the £1m raffle. (With a bit a lucky bid, and an understanding bank manager.) It'll be a leasehold because it's on National Trust land. Providing you don't want to do anything silly, like building a go-kart track, I doubt it would be a problem.
