Second one is nice, can't believe you have to go through the ensuite to get to the master bedroom though.
They've managed to get every possible type of communal living room downstairs though...

Drawing room
Family room
Dining room
Kitchen/Breakfast room
Sitting room
Library...

hehe

Ooh! Having been away from this thread for a couple of days I hadn't noticed one of "mine" had been featured. That hasn't happened in a while. I'm far too bashful to say which, mind.

Happy prawning everyone.
You cant leave it at that...
Indeed!

But if you're the EA, there's nothing for you to be particularly 'bashful' about?

I'd love to be able to buy it but I wouldn't buy it.

Yes, I'm involved with the selling of these places. Anonymity has its benefits.

Agreed, a few posts back we had a railway terminus, this one looks like a county school.

Heath Hall has been on the market for a while, was at £100m

its probally valued about right, its 27,000 sqft, so 2400psf.

my views. If I had that much money I'd get a less ttty pad somewhere nicer and a helichopter to get me into the city if i needed to. Even that house and it's stupid price tag is overlooked because bishop's ave is about as spacious as benefit street. The whole place is just massively gauche such that even if i could, i'd be embarrassed to invite anyone round. My working class family would just call me a showoff , which would be utterly fair enough. Putting the house to one side, the area is so desirably undesirable... Hampstead is full of utter, utter dheads.

Think you'd struggle to do that on 1million to a standard it deserves. I'd be thinking 2.5m based on projects my Dad is involved with

I agree! Without any particular building knowledge the price alone suggests the place is a wreck. 600k for a 10 bed Elizabethan house just down the road from gatcombe park in Glos. in good nick, dependent on land I'm guessing It'd be worth 4.5m?

Bet that place is damper than an otters pocket.

wow what a place. I'd be banking on more than 1mil to sort that and get it to a befitting standard. That would be a fantastic thing to take on. Don't know anything about the area though.

Whilst I don't quite share your hatred of the area I agree that there are much better places to spend your money. I personally would prefer a house somewhere like Elsworthy Road backing on to Primrose Hill.

What would drive me mad if I was spending £65m on that house is the cr4p houses on Canons Close!!!

It has only got 2 acres.

In reality, I think it would cost more to refurb than it would ever be worth. Will probably end up being chopped into flats or something.

Calling it Sevenoaks is a stretch. It's closer to Dartford than Sevenoaks.

It's an orange area on here - http://illustreets.co.uk/blog/maps-and-apps/englan...

Like that. 12.5 acres is also a nice (relatively) manageable size.
