I have a dead cat...
Comes up lovely and fluffy in a tumble dryer...
A woman I work with killed her cat by accidentally trapping it in the washing machine for a full wash cycle - it had used the clothes in there as a nice comfy bed, and she didnt notice before she turned it on.Comes up lovely and fluffy in a tumble dryer...
Something good always comes out of such tragedies...

Need a surround sound system? I have a Harman Kardon 5.1 amp / dvd setup that I'm no longer using, and can't be bothered witht he extreme hassle of ebaying. Originally the 2 boxes were 600 quid for the amp and 400 for the dvd, but I know i'll only get derisory offers - I'd take 300 quid delivered for the pair.

sounds good but guess i really need the essentials first Graham

What house did you end up with? I remember the original thread about you buying a house
Yes seems a long time ago now!Bought a nice 4 bed (with a friend!) on a new estate in Daventry. Going so well so far. Love it and so proud.
Was around 50k less than 6mths ago so feel we have got a good bargain
I was just trying to work out wether you were decorating it with colours that go together, or with whatever was nearest in B+Q =) If it's a blokes pad, reemmber to make room for extra fridges, and plumb in double the electric sockets for near the telly, to compensate for gaming / gadgtery...
