House insurance - what's the point?
Discussion
On monday i put a kango through the water pipe in the kitchen lifting the very last tile in preparation for putting new flooring down. The previous house owner had bodged rerouting the cold water feed and instead of it being buried 3 to 6 inches the tile was laid right on top of it. The resultant flood has damaged the dining room and living room floors so i'm awaiting the insurance assessor to call out and hopefully agree to replace the whole lot (lovely laminate which is starting to bulge at the joints). The insurance company previously replaced a laptop which had gone faulty and then been completely fecked by my ham fisted attempt to fix it without any problem, so fingers crossed.
