Spider season started early?
Discussion
Firstly apologies to spider haters.
Secondly I would have searched for a spider topic, but search is down
Anyway yesterday I get a call from the gf to come down to the garage to look at something. I duly meander down only to be confronted by Shelob!
Feck me this mutha was huge, pretty sure it was getting ready to mug me as well, so I quickly got some photos, and shut the garage door. It's gone today, so hopefully it's toddled off to squat in some one elses garage. THe gf will be going in first though if anything needs moving in there!
I just hope this is the female, cos if it's not

Brown Recluse spider? I think they can actually give quite a bite...I'm not afraid of spiders, But i can sympathise with you mate> I'm terrified of wasps, I was doing some work to the Saab (Head gasket failure) and heard this loud buzzing. Turned round to be confronted by what I thought for a second was a daddy long legs thing only for my eyes to adjust to the light outside the garage and realise it was a huge fecking wasp, and I mean huge. My partner confirmed that it was a wood wasp thing after she had killed it for me

It wont be gone when you go back.
You just wont be able to see it, but it WILL see you.
Just make sure you always put the light on before you go in, even in the daytime.
I did when i checked this evening! Nowhere to be seen though still it's the gf's job to tidy the garage up You just wont be able to see it, but it WILL see you.
