Disposing of poop. A lot of poop.
Discussion
Short version: a friend has 5 binbags of dog poop to dispose of, (yes 5 binbags), where can he take it? I suggested the council recycling centre and bung it in the 'Garden Waste' skip. Will they have a problem with that?
Long version: my mates neighbour has recently inherited a large house with an attached very large garden/field. As he's an ex-Royal Marine and a scrambling addict he's had the idea of turning it into track and letting the kids of servicemen/women away on operations to ride his bikes around it for free. He's had to comply with a load of council rules, (insurance etc), and one of them was to get rid of the dog poop that was in the field as a result of years of the locals letting their dogs do their stuff there, (it previously didn't have decent fencing). Over the last few days a load of people have been walking the site, picking up the said poop and filled 5 binbags. Lovely!
So he needs to get rid of them.
Any ideas (that doesn't involve posting it all to the arrested looters)?

Get a burny bin and set fire to it?
That was his first idea but the council chap who's overseeing the work said no. To be honest the council have pretty much been throwing up barriers every five minutes and aren't exactly helpful, and seem to be looking for any reason to stop this project they can come up with - mainly we suspect because the ex-RM is adamant the site will be for military kids with families away on ops and the council want him to include asbo kids.Dixie68 said:
The thing is guys he not only has to dispose of it, he has to show evidence that he's disposed of it 'correctly'. When asked what 'correctly' entails the council 'helper' goes quiet.
Dig a big hole? 6ft deep or so and just bury it?Ask the council for a copy of the regulations relating to the disposal of dog poo as well, just to make sure they aren't just messing you around and if they are then you can take action against them.
