If it really is 'your land', serve them notice to quit.
You're suggesting serving a chicken with a notice to quit?
I normally serve them with roast potatoes and some veg.

They're not chickens, they are hens.

ps. Its is criminal damage to kill one that belongs to someone else
Chickens are legally livestock so they are treespassing, which is a civil offence and if you can prove damages you may have recourse (will cost you loads in legal fees)
Thanks - this was the answer I was wondering about smile

Do you want to borrow my pet foxes, got them yesterday !!!
You're close to the possible solution...

We're considering becoming a fox-friendly allotment - apparently they are rather partial to dog food and raisins (maybe with a touch of brandy at this time of year, to keep out the cold, and give a little Dutch courage for fence jumping?) so small helpings of both may start being left around weak spots in the fencing... scratchchin

Catch, wring neck, roast, repeat.

NB - I'm refering to the chickens, not the neighbours.
I'll edit that for you.
