You cannot seriously think it is ok to openly consider planting poisonous plants to potentially kill cats and then say you're not a cat hater!! what are you on?

I agree with Ali one step too far. I really don't think I will have the patience to struggle through your posts anymore even if they are making a valid point.

Why- I'm not inviting cats into my garden . If the owners can't keep them out, then why should I ( in all ignorance ) be accused of planting to harm them . I've even had a local councillor tell me that cats ain't pets. What law says I can't plant what I like in my garden ? .If local council can't control the cat population and laws on ownership- WHY should folks have to put up with destruction of property .It's akin to those that keep attack dogs, just for the fun of it . Try planting a garden with seeds & grass, to find that some home with a large cat population looks on your garden as a defalcating site. Responsible cat owners put out litter trays.
It's not nice to find that the car you spent a chunk of money on smells of Tom. Because some chav( that has a houseful of pets that take little maintenance) can't be bothered to get it done.
It's ALL about Responsible pet ownership.

Anyone who deliberately poisons a cat faces a £20,000 fine and/or six months in prison under the Animal Welfare Act.

If you check Who me's posting history you'll find some similar stuff on a thread about slug pellets. Who me seems to know exactly how cats have been poisoned, i.e. Tuna and Warfarin. Some more stuff about badgering his local councillor too.

I suspect his neighbours and councillor all have a similar opinion of Who me as I have formed.

Anyway, lillies moved out of the way of our cats today, fortunatly they don't seem to show any interest in them.
