Akira has been booked in to get his (remaining) teeth seen to under sedation. Under the risks the vet has listed him as being "geriatric". How dare she furious, Akira is still a puppy and he is certainly not geriatric. OH finds it hilarious.

You do realise that anatomically animals are classed as geriatric from 8yrs. Giant dogs 5yrs frown.

How are they doing the teeth under sedation only, sounds more risky than a full ga. Are they just manually scraping the teeth?

I agree though none of my tribe are geriatric (not at 17, 15, 8.5 and almost 8yrs ;-))

Not sure of the sedation details as OH was dealing with it.

They need to redefine geriatric, as our ones will always be puppies.
