Geriatric

Akira has been booked in to get his (remaining) teeth seen to under sedation. Under the risks the vet has listed him as being "geriatric". How dare she , Akira is still a puppy and he is certainly not geriatric. OH finds it hilarious.

You do realise that anatomically animals are classed as geriatric from 8yrs. Giant dogs 5yrs .

How are they doing the teeth under sedation only, sounds more risky than a full ga. Are they just manually scraping the teeth?

I agree though none of my tribe are geriatric (not at 17, 15, 8.5 and almost 8yrs ;-))

Not sure of the sedation details as OH was dealing with it.

They need to redefine geriatric, as our ones will always be puppies.

LOL he would be a "veteran" at shows too...

As with ours, they will always be babies..
