Hope you're young, there's potentially 80yrs to look forward to with your little buddy
Well, I definitely don't have 80 more years on this planet, so I guess when I die, my son will have to have her.Pretty morbid thought actually...

She looks lovely one of my friends has one, but it's a nasty thing. Hates people, won't be touched, attacks every time someone goes near the cage... Shame because it's beautiful to look at.
Shame. Mrs. Wasp did a lot of research and got a hand-reared bird from a good breeder. She looks upon us as her parents....probably.Lubermans said:

They make great pets BUT be prepared for it to favour one member of the household and hate the rest as and when it matures.
dont make the mistake of getting its wings clipped just remember to keep windows and doors closed,as its a bit like someone chopping your legs off to stop you running, many a parrot has ended up with serious damage as they have tried to fly and crash landed and damaged themselves.
we have sold 100`s of them over the years and one of the best ones was a 5 yr old bird called charlie who would let anyone stroke him(rare with adults), he was a complete nutcase and talked and laughed with us.
seek out a avian vet aswell, they need specialist vets if things go wrong, one of the top if not the top bird vet in the world is "neil forbes" well worth travelling for.
enjoy your new friend
