Nice puppies!
Thats my line... and I've been trying to resist using it.
Me too, but nobody else was going to so...

To be honest it was too obvious.

we were so tempted to get two. Those guys look a lot of fun!!
There aren't many recommendations for taking on 2 puppies at the same time. More than twice the trouble. Get one now and another later if you still want 2.
I had my Westie (Jaz, female) for about 3 years and then got a male Westie as a friend. Jaz hated it and used to stalk him in the garden until he was scared. I had to give him back to the breeder in the end. Jaz had grown (or was born) to be an only child smile

Sometimes 2 puppies at the same time can be the best way. Also gets all the house training out of the way in one go.
We had Albert on his own until he was 3 but wanted to get him a buddy, when we got Jimmy home Albert loved it for a few hours but then got the hump, he soon got used to it and they have settled into a great double act, manys the time they go and lay down with each other, they are funny when they rumble especially in the summer when the back of the house is open as the charge after each other in the garden then one makes a break for the house and they run though the kitchen and living room, then run up stairs and all you can hear is them jumping on the beds growling at each other then they come charging back down stair at 100mph and do it all over until they are pooped...they love it!

The only thing I don't like is that because we had Albert on his own for a few years he bonded with us very closely but when Jimmy arrived he bonded more with Albert which makes for a slightly different relationship that isn't quite as close but we love him just the same.

They have totally different characters too, Jimmy love a cuddle and a kipp where as Albert loves to play fight and isn't as fussed with curling up on me for too long...Albert watches telly for age and Jimmy isn't that bothered, although he always like a bit of football.

Meet Baxter, aged 5 weeks 4 days. Not long till we get him home!! I am praying the weather doesn't get bad and delay us picking him up.

I thought I would give this an update. Baxter came home on the 24th December and has settled in really well. He's a great character and loves to cuddle up and get cozy (writiing this with him sleeping against my leg with his tadger pointing towards the ceiling).

Anyway, these are some random pictures from the past few days.
