They don't seem to be going for each other and the humping doesn't appear to bother them now (and they still cuddle up at nap time) so the best course of action is to put them in a different room when people come around.

Means they can jump to their hearts content. I'm beginning to think they enjoy it. The male isn't put off at all when you throw something at him (usually a sock) and even lifting him off he humps the air for a few seconds before realising.
