Indeed. My Maine Coon blinded a dog in one eye, my friend's bengal tore a small rat type dog to pieces and it required a lot of stiches - chased him into a corner, nearly a fatal mistake.. One of my current cats ran from a friends dog who we looked after, the other stood her ground. The dog decided to leave the cats alone.....

Big, aggressive cats are a different ball game to a kitten or nervous cat though.

To be fair Mable (dog) is submissive to Marvin when push comes to shove. Marvin lets her know when he's had enough..
