Doberman Pinscher puppy wanted
Discussion
Evening all
We are looking to buy our 1st puppy and would like to have a Doberman (male) as i have always loved the breed. We have been looking recently and really would like a pure bred, we are in no rush to buy, happy to wait for 6-8 months if needed.
Does anyone know of any pure breed puppies out there for sale? Ive looked long and hard on the old interweb but there isn't much around our area (Wiltshire), although we will travel for the right dog but nearer the better
Thank you in advance.

Hi meant to reply to this a coupe days ago!
I can't help re: breeders, I used to know of one in torbay but that ws years ago now, she was called Tilly brown, she had nice dogs but I doubt she still breeds now.
the main reason \i was posting was to ensure you know that wherever you go check that the parents have been tested and are negative for Von Willebrands disease (VWD) it causes severe clotting defects in the the dobi.
Good luck, it may be worth asking your vets if they know of any breeders or any puppy dobis on their books. Otherwise check the Kennel club breeders list.
Otherwise usual checks for good breeding, Mum not over bred, not too old, home environment, with tails (should not be docked anymore) relaxed parents. Dobi's are rarely aggressive but are often a nervy/ highly strung breed.
