Gareth to 2 doses of 0.2mg a day of the Metacam, seems to be doing ok on it.

He has no problem getting onto the bed anyway...

Just ordered them a bunnybox for Christmas from a link I came across on facebook, also got them a range of new toys to play with. Cinders seems to finally have bored of the Slinky

I don't know how you keep the cage so tidy. 5 minutes after cleaning sawdust and hay is everywhere.

Also since the boys have been chopped they are a nightmare. They were calm before but now love causing chaos. I'm hoping they grow out of this. They are still adorable though.

It's not always this tidy as Gareth in his old age, poo's where he sees fit really & the young one is a rebel so poo's wherever she wants.
Have to hoover up the raisins most days to be honest.

Ours are going well biggrin
They're going to be moving to Gibraltar with us in the next month, by car.
I hope they don't suffer too much with the journey.
As have bought another estate car just so they have the space and they can come with smile

awwww that's ace!!! I know buns don't tend to like to travel but if you give them some space to hop around and take plenty of stops i can't see them complaining too much! You'll have to do a travel update as you go and take plenty of pictures! Are you taking the euro tunnel or ferry? Can't imagine them liking the ferry too much :/

Taking the euro tunnel, for that exact reason.
We put a lot of time and effort into our pets and they mean a lot to us.
So even if it's more expensive, we don't mind taking the route that is best for them smile
I'll try and remember to take plenty of pictures!

Are you sure they'll be alright in a tunnel, you know, underground and that? biggrin

Well, they're good at digging bolt holes in our back garden, so if we left them a few days they'd probably dig us a tunnel for free biggrin

Ours are doing great but need to get one to vet vet as his pee is creamy. He seems fine in himself though and eating like a trooper.

Digging has subsided and both using the toilet more for peeing rather than the hay dish. I wouldnt mind but they won't eat the hay once they pee'd on it.

Cardboard castle for Christmas is well and truly destroyed.

I nearly bought mine a cardboard castle but decided against it, they are just as happy with a veg box from Aldi im sure, haha.

Cinders is same old, same old, hides in her box all day and doesn't do much.

Gareth scared me a little lately as I took him to the vets for check up and to get some more Loxicom, whilst there I mentioned that I thought he was losing weight, vet weighed him and told me to go back in a week.
A week later I took him for weigh in and he had lost 500g eek Vet was concerned and was talking about scans/ blood tests etc but said to bring him back in a week for another weight in but if I was concerned in the mean time to bring him back.
Week later went back for another weight in and he was the same weight, 2.15kg. not sure what happened that week for him to lose so much as he was eating and producing raisins just fine...

So now I have to weigh him at home weekly, what is the best way to do this, any tips? I have weighing scales but he just wont sit still on them. Tried putting him in a basket on the scales and he hopped out laugh

If you have a decent pair of digital scales weigh yourself holding him then weight yourself and do the maths.

Waste of time: those heavy cardboard fruit boxes are brilliant! I used make special trips to the supermarket just to pinch them.

Ours seem to have the hump with us and pee everywhere currently. The new cardboard box seems to have appeased them slightly and they do enjoy shredding it and sleeping in it.

It's a funny time of year for bunnies. Spring is beginning to creep in.

It's weird because our two don't like cardboard boxes at all! I've got them one now and cut a hole in it for them to go hide in but they just aren't bothered. Had to encourage them in with treats
