Jesus Christ!

That makes me want another one!! They are the cutest puppies!!

Which breeder is he from?
He’s actually from a lady who had a dog from Finlay’s breeder... she’s had a litter to help her daughter raise a deposit to buy a house.. she was very particular about who she’d let her pups go to, and clearly a dog lover.. she currently has two EBTs (Milo’s mum and dad) a boxer (who was mad as a box of frogs) and a bulldog...

Went for a walk with Finlay this afternoon, ended up in the local pub garden for a quick refresher... for Finlay you understand... thought I'd have one myself while I was there..

I met one of these the other day for the first time in a long while, got to admit I have weariness about them as I remember the days when every piekey and his mate had one and mistreated them or pushed them to be aggressive frown

Anyhow, he was a massive silly sod who wanted to play like a puppy with my Corgie and mid play turned, ran straight at my shin head first and either his head or my shin made a large knocking sound like a door knocker biggrin

What a lump it was! I'll be more careful where I put my legs next time as clearly I was in his way smile

Shame you don't see more of them about.

You're probably safer around an unfriendly EBT than a well socialised friendly one.

An unfriendly one would probably just ignore you.

A friendly one will want to be your bestest friend ever, their way of proving their friendship involves head-butting you, slobbering you, running at you at .5 beyond warp speed and knocking you off your feet and trying to lick any earwax out of your right ear by sticking their tongue up your left nostril before finally shedding vast quantities of fur all over you as a reminder of your time together.

HTH?

wink

Milo looks like a little Arthor

Who at 21 months old is now chilling out a fair amount! He’s still bat poop crazy at times but his lazy times are increasing and he now loves nothing more than a snuggle with me or my son, and apparently “barks for cuddles” from my wife!

Well Finlay and Milo are both definitely getting along much better... the first few weeks of them together was tough - Milo was a little stbag when he first met Fin..

I wouldn't change a thing though.. having two is hard work, but very rewarding and Fin definitely likes having Milo around for company...

They are very different in character though, certainly more than we expected. Fin is a really big softy, loves nothing more than to please and as a result, learnt lots of commands very quickly. Milo has a much better sense of smell, but isn't quite as quick to learn as Fin, although he does have the distraction of another dog around to take his attention, which Fin obviously didn't...

So whilst out and about working, saw an advert at side of road for EBT puppies.

From £1,500!

When did they become that expensive?

A long time now but if you have to advertise on the side of a road to sell a breed like an EBT, you are doing something wrong or are a backyard breeder etc and definitely shouldn't be asking that much for them. If you are breeding dogs like these you should have a waiting list!

Got my boy from an advert in a shop window.

Dad was a well known stud, the mum a pet, £500 later and we had a puppy.

The arguement about breeders and puppy farms (after all if you have 4 bhes just for breeding then you are a puppy farm) is a different thread.

However, at £1,500 then your going to get people in it for the money rather than the breed.

This WILL bring down the standards etc of the breed.

On my route I see quite a few road signs for dogs, collies, labs, springers. Usual farm dogs.

Would I buy one from a road sign?

Yes, as long as it all checked out.

As said above, got the boy from a shop window and he was fantastic with no problems in health other than usual ebt stupidity haha

Lou was £1300.

We had to wait a year and had phone and face to face interviews.

In the spirit of keeping the thread alive, this popped up on Lou and Duncan’s Instagram feed:

Hipster-terrier

For some reason, it made me laugh.
A lot.

Wilson and his new buddy Hamilton appear to be getting on well... In fact, though I'm a modern thinking man, I think they might be homosexuals and I'm struggling slightly to come to terms with it. I'm sure I'll come around in the end though.

As long as they are happy together, that's all that matters eh wink

That is a very cute pic of them though, we have a frenchie and would quite like an EBT at some point, so please keep us posted how you get on with the two breeds and how compatible they are. thumbup
